I’m Brandon Huckaby, a mortgage lender, nonprofit leader, and community volunteer running for Knox County Commission in District 3. I currently serve as Chair of the Farragut West Knox Chamber’s Education Committee and as President-elect of Keep Knoxville Beautiful, where I’ve seen how local decisions show up in people’s everyday lives. I’m running because District 3 needs a commissioner focused on practical results: fully funded public schools, safer and cleaner neighborhoods, smarter infrastructure planning, and housing choices that working families, seniors, and first-time buyers can actually afford. I believe county government should be responsive, transparent, and focused on the basics: roads, public safety, schools, stormwater, and responsible budgeting. My priority is to listen first, show up consistently, and make decisions based on what helps our neighborhoods thrive, not on political noise.
